A lot of information pertaining to model railroading that is available appears to be opinion and lore. There are a number of how to books and video’s on a subject, but usually the “why you do that” or “the advantage of that” is assumed and not shown. Often, things turn out like a story that has been passed from one person to another. After several renderings, the original story is not recognizable.
I will be taking data on all sorts of facets of HO model railroading performance. This data will appear in the “Facts in evidence” category. Additionally any physics derivations that support the data will also show up in this section.
